Hill Lutheran Church

We believe in building our faith around the strong belief in God as made known to us in Jesus Christ. Through worship , service and education we will practice our faith, grow our relationship with God and experience God's grace on our lives.

We believe the Bible is the written Word of God, it creates and nutures faith through the work of the Holy Spirit and points us to Jesus Christ, The Living Word and center of our faith. By reading the Bible we are invited into a relationship with God that challenges us and promises us new life.

This church:

• Confesses the Triune God; Father, Son and the Holy Spirit
  
  
• Confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and the Gospel as the power of God for the salvation of all who believe.
  
  
• Accepts the canoncial Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the inspired Word of God and the authoritative source of its proclamation, faith and life.
  
  
• Accepts the Apostle's, Nicene and the Athanasian Creeds as true declarations of the faith of this Church.
  
  
• Confesses the Gospel recorded in the Holy Scriptures and confessed in the ecumenical creeds and Lutheran confessional writings as the power of God to create and sustain the Church of God's mission in the world.
